Your Buckle Tale item will maintain its qualities if it is not directly exposed to sources of light and heat. Avoid excessive contact with water, oils, perfumes or cosmetics. Variations in tone, marks or grains are natural features that should not be considered imperfections.

 

CARE GUIDE FOR BAGS AND SMALL LEATHER GOODS

  • Maintain & Preserve
    Refrain from carrying excessively heavy items and avoid using our products for purposes that could potentially damage the materials or change its color. Take care to prevent rubbing against rough surfaces.Keep the leather products away from water, grease, oils, makeup, perfumes, heat and sunlight. Exposure to these elements may cause permanent wear and tear.
  • Cleaning
    If the leather gets wet, gently dab it dry with a soft, absorbent cloth and let dry at room temperature.To remove dust or dirt, clean leather products with a soft, non-abrasive cloth, and avoid excessive or repetitive rubbing that may harm the leather.Avoid machine washing or using mechanical processes.
  • Storage
    To maintain its shine, store the products in a warm, dry place away from direct light when not in use. Ideally, store it in its box or protective cover and use tissue paper to maintain its shape. Avoid using plastic for storage.

Your product is made from a unique, natural material. Imperfections in leather is part of it’s nature and should be celebrated. The dyes and colors in some products can also produce a slight transfer of colour. Keep this in mind, particularly while wearing light-colored garments.
